Needs
Beiersdorf, best known for its NIVEA brand, communicates very intensively with a large number of journalists. Photographs of NIVEA products often appear in fashion and image magazines targeted at both women and men.This is highly desired publicity and therefore the company decided to prepare a specialized extranet [do noveho okna] for journalists that would include everything that they need in order to write about the products. An important aspect was also lowering the costs of publishing graphic information.
The Solution
ET NETERA proposed a system that allows for easy management of digital content as a basis for a solution.The nivea4press.cz system allows registered journalists to search for and download photographs of individual products. These are clearly organized into individual product lines and sorted according to their type (product, application, pack shots, etc.). Also, all press materials concerning NIVEA products are published on the extranet.
Photographs are automatically offered in several levels of quality and can be downloaded in bulk in one ZIP file, which replaces the slow downloading of individual photos in order to increase user comfort.
