Telefónica O2’s New Website

“On the basis of feedback from users, we mostly focused on ease of navigation, clarity, and a fresh design of the new website. The section MyO2 is also new and customers can use it to find their mobile and fixed service bills, including call registries and sending bills to email addresses free of charge,” said Jindřich Fremuth, director of Telefónica O2 Czech Republic’s online division.

When logging onto www.o2.cz, the user is immediately taken to the list of products and services. The homepage and individual sections underwent a restructuring with the customer supplying the design. For example, the section on telephones now offers a wider range of visualizations, filters, or comparisons of individual devices. The site offers a rather flat structure, which means the customer does not have to click as much, and the most important information can be found on the product page. The new website also provides better access to O2’s other portals and offers connections to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Winkel, the manager of Online Development and Online Channels at Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, wrote to Et netera employees after the website was launched.
