ET NETERA Becomes the Only Czech Company to Finish in the Top Three Employers of the Year

On April 19, 2011, the winners of the Best Employers Czech Republic competition were revealed as selected by international consulting, outsourcing, and human research management firm Hewitt Associates. The goal of the study is to show what differentiates the best employers from the rest using an analysis of employees’ motivation and the degree of agreement between their needs and a company’s human resource tools.

Companies with at least 50 employees that have been active in the Czech market for at least two years can take part. Two rankings were set-up again this year: one for large enterprises (Top5); and another for small and medium-sized businesses (Top10).

Et netera finished third in the small and medium-sized category. This excellent finish is a result of Et netera’s long-term efforts to build an environment and conditions for its employees that makes the time they spend at work worthwhile for them and for the company. This includes a corporate culture where human values outweigh formal rules, various employee benefit plans, a wide variety of education options with some taught by employees themselves, or even a myriad of various enjoyable cultural and social events.

No company has repeated a result in the top three two years in a row. “Our belief is that we spend too much time at work to go there with dread and a feeling of dissatisfaction. The repeat of our result is proof that this method may not be the easiest, but it is very successful,” said Martin Černohorský, Et netera a.s. managing director.
