Et netera Achieves 107 Million CZK in Turnover in 2009/10 Fiscal Year To Expand Despite the Global Economic Crisis.

Revenue in the year rose 3 percent to 107.1 million CZK from 104.5 million in 2008/09. The current turbulent market conditions, where companies tend to invest less than they have in the past, affected Et netera as well, but the company was able to maintain its trend of turnover growth every year.

“One of the reasons for the relative success of 2009 is the diverse portfolio of our clients. We aren’t dependent on one segment and if one area is doing worse for a period, a different one will compensate for it. Also, businesses are concentrating more on the real benefits of internet solutions, which is exactly what we appreciate. In the long-term, we do not simply concentrate on technologically superior websites, but we especially look at their purpose and effectiveness. If we don’t see that in a project, we will try to talk the client out of it,” said Martin Černohorský, Et netera a.s. managing director.

Et netera also won several significant awards in the past year. Chief among them was the Company of the Year Award given by the City of Prague (see Press Release). The Ticketpro project was a laureate of the Internet Effectiveness Awards and the websites of Telefónica O2 and Ahold were ranked among the highest in the WebTop100 contest. Et netera a.s. placed 10th in 2009 in the Best Employer award and this year the company ranked 3rd (see Press Release).

In the spring of this year, Et netera announced that it was buying a 100% stake in První multimediální (see Press Release). This acquisition is one reason why Et netera plans further growth for 2010 and a final turnover of about 130 million CZK.
