Discover the Whole Story
The digital showroom has been deployed to 18 sales points in 12 European countries. It allows customers to use a tablet or touch tables to configure a car that matches their preferences. The life-sized car can be displayed on a video wall and examined in detail. Even if the client does not decide to buy, they can leave with a QR code that links to the configuration they chose in the showroom.
“The future of the automotive segment isn’t in making cars, but in the services associated with their operation,”
Etnetera Project Manager Ondřej Henke
We launched a digital showroom app for tablets.
We prepared a complex set of prototypes for innovative equipment in cooperation with ŠKODA AUTO for its digital showrooms project. These came with complex functionality to demonstrate the concept and collect feedback from user tests.
The ŠKODA Plus website reached 3,000 tested, pre-owned cars available from 125 Czech dealers.
We extended reporting capabilities of the TNT to mobile devices for both management and individual dealerships.
“Etnetera is not just an implementer of solutions we devise. They are an equal partner in the development and support of unique information systems. Despite occasional problems during development or turbulent changes in requirements, we always reached a result that hit the mark for ŠKODA AUTO.”
Pavel Kulíšek– Dealer network development and corporate design
A new, 9th version of the ŠKODA Plus portal received a frontend facelift, a new car search function, and integration with Google Maps. Lists of pre-owned cars were newly integrated with ŠkoFIN’s website.
We worked on rapid TNT system development, adding new modules for more of ŠKODA AUTO’s internal departments. The continual development is, on Etnetera’s side, guaranteed by a team of up to 20 people, including consultants, analysts, programmers, testers, first-line support, a project manager, and an account manager.
We started work preparing multimedia systems for ŠKODA’s cars.
Besides TNT, we also developed a mobile version of the ŠKODA Plus portal and Etnetera Motion delivered sales e-learning modules for all models; from the smallest Citigo to largest Superb. The training includes theoretical and practical information on a given model, comparisons to competitors, and how to pass on the advantages of the Simply Clever solution. This is all enriched by multimedia elements such as video guides and 3D animations.
The TNT project isn’t just a winner with the client, but also at the Internet Effectiveness Awards. We won the Auto-Moto category and the main Grand Prix prize. TNT shortens the average time needed to process a request by 70% and makes it significantly easier to report key information to ŠKODA AUTO management.
“The TNT project was an important step forward because it allows for closer cooperation between the manufacturer and individual markets. For meeting the goals and for the project’s execution, I’d like to thank our team within ŠKODA AUTO, who took part in the preparation, and Etnetera, which provided a first-class technological solution.”
Jan Steyrer – Head of distribution strategy
We worked on rebranding ŠKODA Plus to match ŠKODA AUTO’s new corporate identity.
We won a tender to provide a unique application: the Target Network Tool. TNT enables a simple exchange of information between importers (organizations representing the client in more than 100 markets) and many departments throughout ŠKODA AUTO using a robust web application.
After acquiring První multimediální, we took over the operation of the ŠKODA Plus applications and a new era of cooperation begins.
První multimediální launched operation of the ŠKODA Plus portal, which integrates several external systems, including one for used car management.
The oldest Czech internet agency, První multimediální (First Multimedia Co.) began its ten-year relationship with their client, ŠKODA AUTO.
